in Quichua this plant is called Munditi Mandi, nocturnal curassow anthurium because the color of its underside matches the color of the yellow green feathers around the curassows eye.  What is interesting is that both sides of this plant/bird analogy are usually out of sight.  Because the curassow is nocturnal it is frequently heard but seldom seen.  Because the anthurium grows close to the ground its yellow-green underside is also normally hidden from human eyes.
